Hun Many: The Loss of Shinzo Abe is a Loss of a Good Friend to Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Member of the National Assembly of Cambodia, Hun Many, has stated that he considers the death of former Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, as a great loss to the people of Japan, as well as the loss of a good friend to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Hun Many wrote on his Facebook page on Friday evening, 8 July 2022, "Our thought and prayers are with the family and loved ones of H.E. Shizo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan. This is a big loss for the people of Japan and, for the Kingdom of Cambodia, we have lost a good friend who has been working so hard to forge good relations of our both nations."

Shinzo Abe was one of Japan's longest-serving former Prime Ministers. He was shot dead while delivering a speech this morning for the Japanese Senate election campaign this weekend.
